On behalf of the Camp Pendleton Armed Services YMCA, please accept our heartfelt THANK YOU for the tremendous amount of selfless volunteer work you did to execute the first-ever ball gown giveaway aboard base on Saturday!

Our sign-in sheets indicate that 323 women actually tried on and received a lovely fitted ball gown– W*O*W! Your focus and determination on this project was exceptionally noteworthy and inspirational to many of us. All of the recipients seemed deeply thankful and delighted. The personal account of the woman who was no longer forced to choose between celebrating her child’s birthday and attending the ball, due to lack of money, was very touching. Thanks again for your caring and hard work. It’s via generous people like you that the Armed Services YMCA is able to accomplish its important mission of serving the military.
